Justin Levitt has a
great post on what some may view as a
slightly wacky decision that came out of New Jersey late last week: namely that New Jersey voters who voted absentee for a presidential candidate who has since dropped out of the race (i.e. Edwards, Giuliani, Kucinich), get a do-over and can vote again before the close of polls on Tuesday. As Justin points
out , the decision is actually quite relevant to the current debate over . . . requiring
voter ID at the polls.
